Everyone has to start Somewhere
As I started concentrating on strengthening my paintings and charcoal drawings, I found it vital to go through other media I surround myself with. The use of well established subject matter allowed me to focus on the technique of my art instead of feeling the pressure to create brand new subjects

I have not been the biggest of video game players, but I cannot deny the influence they have had on me over the years. From Star Wars to Horizon Zero Dawn to Destiny 2, there are moments that stick with the player. Most players are pulled in from the exciting or gigantic moments of emotion and energy. While I enjoy moments like this, I am most inspired by the haunting moments, when a chill runs down your spine and you are simply awestruck by what you are witnessed.

Gathering with the Magic
While I do not have the experience of playing since I was a kid, Magic: The Gathering has still been an inspiration and something to aspire towards. The powerful monsters and breathtaking landscapes are something I hope one day to join.

Animation has been a fantastic source of inspiration for myself. Animated works such as Arcane and Across the Spiderverse have such a unique style, giving the appearence of being hand drawn while instead being completed using digital media. This mix of media was something that fascinated me, and showed me how to use the media I have to create texture and details
